Elizabeth Dyer is a recent graduate from Sacramento State University of California with her Bachelor of Music Education and Vocal Performance. She first fell for the barbershop style thanks to the Placerville Gold Rush Chorus and their outstanding youth-outreach program. She has been singing in competing quartets since 2004, and assistant-directed the Gold Rush Chorus from 2008-2009. Elizabeth placed 4th in the International Young Women in Harmony contest with her high school quartet, and then 2nd with her college quartet in 2011. In 2013, she placed 1st at the Region 24 contest with “Rogue” quartet. She is so pleased to be back to the chorus which fostered her “barbershop roots”.
